Without you this day would not be possible!

The 2021 Chip In Fore St. Martha’s was one for the record books!

In our largest tournament ever, we saw 33 teams teeing off in support of St. Martha’s Regional Hospital.  It was a fantastic and fun-filled day that saw team Tim Horton’s taking home the trophy!

Proudly sponsored by R.J MacIsaac Construction Ltd., the course was full of fun activities such as three hole in one prizes, a chip in event on the practice green and a brand new chip in event, which sported a floating green to test player’s skills and definitely drew out some friendly competition. Also new to the tournament this year was a marshmallow drive, which was as entertaining to watch as it was to play!

A special thanks to our food sponsors, Tim Hortons, Tony’s Meats, Subway and Pita Pit. Their sponsorship allowed us to provide delicious food on the course. Every year, High-Crest Enterprises ensures we have fantastic prizes for our tournament winners. CIBC, our new hospitality sponsor provided an on-course snack and hydration station. Our thirsty players were also treated to beverage samples from Steinhart Distillery and Spindrift. Our Media Sponsor, XFM are always there to help with getting the word out for our events to ensure we have a large number of teams registering each year.

We owe a huge thank you to Boyd and Theresa MacIsaac of RJ MacIsaac Construction Ltd., for their continued support and dedication to the tournament. This day would not be possible without them.  From planning the event and on-course activities, to helping recruit teams to play, they’re always there to help!

We would also like to give a huge shout out to Brian Affleck and his amazing team at the Antigonish Golf & Country Club for making sure the course is set up and ready to go for the day. Their assistance in planning and execution of the tournament is incredible!

We are also are very fortunate to have amazing volunteers on the course to help things run smoothly and help players throughout the day.

Last but certainly not least, thank you to our players who come out each year regardless of weather to support St. Martha’s Regional Hospital.  They make sure the day is super charged with fun and lots of laughs.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for your continued support!!

Team RJ MacIsaac Construction

Team RJ MacIsaac Construction

On behalf of the St. Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation, we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out in support of the annual Chip in Fore St. Martha’s Golf Tournament. It may have been a bit rainy this year, but it was still a blast!

This year’s 2020 tournament saw 22 teams of golfers tee off at the Antigonish Golf and Country Club to raise funds for the St. Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation. The Chip in Fore St. Martha’s Golf Tournament proudly sponsored by RJ MacIsaac Construction Ltd. hosted a number of on-course activities including three Hole in One opportunities, food and beverage sampling, and the signature ‘Chip in Challenge’ event to keep things interesting throughout the day.

The winning team was Keltic Motors of Antigonish with the MacLeod Group team narrowly beating the St. Martha’s Hospital Team for second place.

Andrew Arbuckle was the winner of the $1000 Chip in Challenge event, sponsored by RJ MacIsaac.

We want to extend a special thank you to Boyd and Theresa MacIsaac for their ongoing support of the tournament. Every year, the golf tournament planning team works hard to raise funds to support St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Boyd and Theresa’s leadership are instrumental in the success of this event!

We also want to extend a message of thanks to all of the volunteers who came to support the event. Rain or shine, they show up with a smile, ready to do what needs to be done and we are so grateful to them.

Finally, we want to thank all of the incredible local businesses that support the Event including out media sponsor: 98.9 XFM, as well as our food and beverage sponsors: Steinhart Distillery, Coldstream Clear Distillery, Pita Pit, Subway, Tony’s Meats, Tim Hortons and Kenny’s Pizza. As well as those businesses that donate prizes including: High-Crest Enterprises, Cabot Links, the Ollie Bots Team, Wilson’s Equipment and local artist, Wayne Ezekiel. We’d also like to acknowledge The Antigonish Golf and Country Club for their ongoing support of the event, as well as Ross Screen Print and Special Occasions Tent and Events and the Bonvie MacDonald Team for lending us tents.

Through strong financial support and donations from a wide variety of businesses, including RJ MacIsaac Construction, as well as the 22 teams who played, the tournament raised over $20,000 for St. Martha’s Regional Hospital! Thank you all for your support.
