Our Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles

Our Mission:

Our mission is to ensure that the highest standard of healthcare is available to the patients of St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, by having the resources to support quality health and medical care.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to transform healthcare in the quad-counties by inspiring, engaging and celebrating our donors and our community's support for St. Martha's Regional Hospital.

Guiding Principles:

·         To build on the legacy of the Sisters of St. Martha.

·         To inspire and help the community support St. Martha's Regional Hospital.

·         To be donor-centred in all that we do.

·         To ensure a diversity and inclusion lens is applied in all that we do.

I am proud to be a part of an organization that directly supports the community I grew up in and call home. My goal as a board member is to be able to do my part to help our local health care team access the resources and equipment needed to deliver the best care possible to all patients that come to St. Martha’s in their time of need. The work of the Foundation helps the community see the importance of St. Martha’s in building a stronger and healthier community.
— Kate Gorman, Former Board Member

What We've Achieved

The Foundation was established in 1990, and in 2025 will celebrate its 35th anniversary. It is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and an Executive Director. The Board of Directors along with the Executive Director work diligently to guarantee that St. Martha’s provides the best patient care and is well prepared for the future.
